This website is dedicated to the prevention of future injury by patrons of the Alaska Club East in Anchorage, Alaska. On September 3, 2006 I was injured while attending the Alaska Club East pool. My injury, a deep laceration on my right ring finger, required a total of 7 stitches! I have experienced much pain and suffering and still have discomfort in my disfigured hand. I have difficulty writing and doing other normal kinesthetic tasks like playing the piano.
The following video is documented proof of the injury. It was taken during the days after the laceration to show the extent of the injury.
In the meantime, Northern Adjusters, Inc. of Anchorage, Alaska (907) 338.7484 is working with us to settle this issue. Of course, it is now, December 27. Now the professionals at Northern Adjusters tell us that they will offer $3,000 to cover the medical expenses and the pain and misery. This is an insult. How do the folks at Northern Adjusters determine this? How do they consciously make this illogical decision? How do they feel about making amends for this negligence? When we look back on our lives in retrospect how do these people actually feel about beating people out of their rightful compensation? How much is one of your finger's worth?
